The Russian Union of Travel Industry (till 2001 – Russian Association of Tourism Agencies – RATA) is the largest business
union in Russia . It was founded in 1993. Since 1995 RATA is a member of the United Federation of Travel Agencies Association
(UFTAA) that represents Russia ; since 1997 – a member of the World Tourism Organization (WTO). Consolidated more then
400 independent producers of tourist services - juristic bodies of all forms of property.
To become a member of RUTI it is necessary to submit the following documents:
- Application form, filled out in accordance with the following: “The company (the name of the company as registered)
asks to consider the question of its joining RUTI. The company agrees with the principal trends of activity
of the Union as well as to observe its Regulations. Director. Seal. Signature. Date.”
- Copy of the registration certificate;
- Copy of the license;
- Brief account of the services, provided by the company.
